Giantseed Is Now On Pinterest
Friday, February 17, 2012
Pinterest is probably the fastest growing social platform of 2012. Still in private only invite status we see the charts of traffic and accounts just climbing like we've never seen before.
If this is the first you've heard of it Pinterest, it's a social media platform that lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.
Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.
Giantseed created an account to share the visual aspect of our business. Currently we only have our completed projects up on our pinboard but we have plans for future pinboards as you can see by visiting our page.
We're going to be keeping a close eye on this new social media platform and how to use it for not only our business but yours.
You can request an invitation by visiting the site's homepage but if you want to get in faster just ask Jeff to send you one. It will take minutes instead of days.
How To Set Up A Pinterest Business Account
After much trial and error we figured out that the best way to set up a Pinterest business account is to login with you Business' Twitter account. Pinterest auto-populates your profile info from whatever account you link and you also cannot sign-up with a Facebook Page as of this writing. Once you're signed up, go into your settings and setup an email and password to log-in. That way you won't have to be logged into your business' Twitter profile every time you want to sign in to Pinterest.
